Kogi’s PDP Chairman resigns

Adinoyi Aroke, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State’s Okehi Local Government Area, has left the organisation.

He has been a member of the PDP since 1998, the Obasanjonews24 has learned.

In a letter dated September 7, 2023, and addressed to the ward chairman of the PDP in Oboreke Eba Ward, Okehi Local Government, Aroke announced his resignation. Aroke previously served as the party’s state financial secretary and as the former special adviser to former Governor Ibrahim Idris on poverty reduction.

He claims to have been a devoted and devoted member of the party since 1998, noting that his membership in the party has ended as a result of the letter of resignation sent to the PDP chairman, Oboreke Eba.

Mrs. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the PDP senatorial candidate in the most recent National Assembly election, resides in the local government of Okehi.

I officially present my letter of resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, after my devoted and faithful service to the party since 1998, according to a portion of the letter.

“My membership in the party is no longer active as a result of this resignation.

I take this chance to let my ever-expanding, devoted, and loyal political family and friends in and outside of Kogi State know that I will announce my next political move following appropriate consultation.
