The Kogi State Government intends to bring charges against every suspect connected to the 11-year-old kid Friday Oshodi’s alive burial.
This information was provided in an interview with DAILY POST on Thursday by the commissioner for women’s issues and social development, Hajia Fatima Kabir Buba.
The victim will be placed in an orphanage, according to Buba, who added that the ministry is making all necessary preparations in this regard.
She asserts that the government will ensure that justice is done on all of the offenders of the horrible deed after information reaching the ministry reveals that the boy is being mistreated by her stepmother and brother.

She reaffirmed that the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello is dedicated to protecting both boy and girl children and warned that anyone abusing their charge will be subject to the full force of the law.
“The victim Friday Oshodi is currently in our care, while the key suspect Goodness Oshodi is being sought by the police. This represents the utmost level of wickedness. How is a human being to be buried alive?
“The woman who demanded that this young kid be punished is still at large. I’m promising the populace that she will be detained and subjected to the full force of the law,” she said.
Recall that one Goodness Oshodi is accused of burying his younger brother Friday Oshodi alive after finding out that he had stolen money.
The incident took place at Kogi State’s Silo Community, Apamisede, in Zango Daji’s Adavi Local Government Area.
