Kogi Guber: Ganduje and the APC should win with 99 percent of the vote
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, has stated that he anticipates 99 percent support and victory as Kogi State voters get ready to cast their ballots for the governorship election on November 11.
At the official inauguration of the APC’s National and State Campaign Councils for the Nov. 11 governorship race, Ganduje addressed the party’s members and supporters.
He expressed the expectation that the state’s residents would cast a resounding vote for the ruling party because it is a traditional APC state, according to NAN.
The state campaign committee, which will work with the national campaign committee and the campaign committees of the LGAs to guarantee success at the polls, is being formally inaugurated today.
“You have experienced good governance under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration, and once our flagbearer, Usman Ododo, is voted to office, our party hopes to do more.
Ododo is your son, who you are quite familiar with as a devoted and diligent individual who is prepared to represent the state and you as governor.
In the next governorship election on November 11, he stated, “We are expecting nothing less than 99 percent victory votes from the people of Kogi.”
He informed the populace that President Bola Tinubu has pledged to create the favourable conditions necessary for a credible and peaceful conduct of the governorship election.
In addition, Yahaya Bello assured that given the option of a competent and intelligent candidate, the people of Kogi were all prepared to vote for the APC.
“The APC Governorship Flagbearer is politically well-groomed and has the necessary expertise to take Kogi to the next stage of its development.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the APC national chairman inaugurated the Kogi and national gubernatorial campaign councils.
Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi, oversees the state campaign council while Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun State, is in charge of the national campaign council.
In his acceptance address, Abiodun vowed that his council would cooperate with the state campaign committee headed by Gov. Yahaya Bello to conduct an aggressive and peaceful campaign that would persuade the opposition to support the APC and its flag bearer for an absolute victory.
