The Court of Appeal (COA) President, Justice Monica Bolna’an-Dongban, will chair the Kogi Off-Cycle Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which is scheduled to meet on Saturday.
This was verified by the Tribunal’s secretary, Mr. David Umar-Mike, to reporters in Lokoja on Thursday.
With 446,237 votes, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Usman Ododo defeated Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate Murtala Ajaka, who received 259,052 votes.

“With God’s grace, the tribunal will convene this Saturday, November 25,” stated the tribunal secretary. Motions will be taken ex parte.
This is due to the fact that the only things we now have are the exparte motions scheduled for that Saturday.
“However, the actual work might take a few more days as attorneys will need to search the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other locations for documents prior to submitting their different petitions.”
