Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan is the duly elected candidate for the Kogi Central Senatorial Election that was conducted earlier this month, according to the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division.

The court rejected Abubakar Ohere’s appeal because it lacked merit.

Ohere of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was pronounced the victor of the Kogi Central Senatorial Election earlier in September by the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal in Lokoja.

Additionally, the court ruled that Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was the legitimate victor of the senate election held in February.

Despite Ohere’s efforts to seek justice at the appellate court, the court maintained Akpoti-Uduagan’s victory in the poll.
