Wednesday’s meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and His Royal Majesty, King Charles III, is scheduled to take place at Buckingham Palace.
Although the purpose of the meeting is unclear, it is anticipated that both presidents would speak about bilateral relations and how the UK might support Nigeria in its fight against terrorism.
The Nigerian president is in the UK for a medical examination. On October 31st, he left.
Both leaders exchanged messages with one another before the meeting on Wednesday.
In a letter to the president of Nigeria, King Charles III expressed his sympathy for the West African country’s recent flooding.
In his letter to Buhari, the monarch started, “Your Excellency, Dear Mr President.” “I wanted you to know how very grieved my wife and I are to learn of the many individuals whose lives have been so drastically touched by the tragic floods in Nigeria and who have lost their loved ones.
“We recall our trips to Nigeria and the generosity of the people we met with the deepest affection.”
