Months after their separation, Kim Kardashian and renowned American rapper and fashion designer Kanye Omari West, often known as Kanye West or Ye, have struck a divorce agreement.
Several businesses severed relations with the fashion designer less than a month ago due to his nasty and anti-Semitic statements, which further damaged his already deteriorating public image.
The couple has been in the spotlight since their divorce due to disagreements over property and child custody.
However, court records submitted on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court by their attorneys showed they had come to a compromise as they requested the judge to accept the conditions of their agreement.
The terms of the divorce agreement include that Ye will give Kim $200,000 per month in child support, that they will share custody, and that neither party will be required to pay the other spousal maintenance.
It is believed that the arrangement was made in order to postpone the trial that was set to start next month.
For contentious reasons, West has been in the headlines recently.
The “Donda” singer faced criticism for his anti-semitic comments in October.
Following the birth of their first child, Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian in 2013, and the two later wed in May 2014.
The reality television actress, entrepreneur, and influencer Kardashian was married for the third time, while Ye was getting married for the first time. One of the most keenly watched celebrity marriages in recent years was theirs.
