Kester rejoins Shooting Stars practise after break due to injury

Kelly Kester, a midfielder with the Shooting Stars, has resumed training after suffering a knee injury.

Kester last appeared for the Oluyole Warriors in the season-opening 2-2 tie with Bendel Insurance FC.

Almost nine games for Shooting Stars, including the Oyo State Federation Cup final, have been missed by the former Enyimba star.

Kester is anticipated to play in the team’s match against Kwara United on matchday 12 in Akure.

The imposing midfielder left Vietnamese side Hong Linh Ha Tinh FC at the end of his contract and signed with Shooting Stars as a free agent at the beginning of the season.

He once been on the roster of Makurdi’s Lobi Stars Football Club.
