The letter of resignation for the chief officers was signed by 20 of the assembly’s 24 members, according to the statement.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the statement didn’t give a reason for their resignation.
According to NAN, the house had invited Governor Atiku Bagudu to appear before it on January 27 to explain how he had spent more than the N18.7 billion loan that had been approved by the house on October 18, 2021, through a letter dated January 26, 2023, and signed by the acting clerk, Suleman Shamaki.
