Starting this weekend, Kano Pillars will compete in a preseason match in Katsina.
The competition will take place between September 30 and October 4.
Other teams competing in the preseason event are Katsina United, Niger Tornadoes, Wikki Tourists, Doma United, El-Kanemi Warriors, and Jigawa Golden Stars.
The competition aims to make the teams’ preparations for the next Nigeria Professional Football League season more intense.
The competition’s winner will receive N1m in cash, while the runners-up will each receive N500,000.
In their most recent four exhibition games, Kano Pillars remain unbeaten.
After finishing second in the NNL Super Eight playoffs in Asaba, The Sai Masu Gida was promoted to the NPFL.
