The technical staff of Katsina United will face consequences for permitting an incorrect attire choice during their matchday 11 encounter with Sporting Lagos.
The Nigeria Premier Football League punished the Ikon Allah Boys N1 million for the incident.

Rimi pledged to take strong action against those responsible, expressing his displeasure at what he called their lack of professionalism.
He pointed out that despite being aware of the league’s dress rule, the technical staff and the manager of the team uniforms disregarded it.
According to Rimi, this kind of behaviour would damage the club’s reputation and the reputation of Katsina State’s sports-loving citizens.
He proposed that the fine levied on the club by the league authority after the incident would be covered by the technical crew and the suspended kits manager.
According to Obasanjo News24, Katsina United was fined N1 million by the Nigeria Premier Football League for improperly displaying a player’s name and number. Masudu Lawal, the kits manager, was also banned for a year from all NPFL events for inappropriate behaviour.
