Mr. Methodius Karfe, the programme manager of the Kukah Centre in Kaduna, has encouraged religious leaders to share the truth with their followers in order to prevent a crisis in the nation.
The counsel was given by Karfe on Tuesday at the start of a one-day debate on “Strengthening Synergy Between Religious Leaders and Security Operatives in Kaduna State.”
“As we all know, the country’s northern area, which was formerly tranquil, is now experiencing security issues.
“The goal of the event is to address these issues and offer effective answers for enduring peace in society.
We must cooperate and work together as citizens, community leaders, religious organisations, and security services to accomplish this shared aim, he stated.
In order to promote peaceful coexistence, the project manager also advocated for greater cooperation between religious authorities and security forces.
He gave the assurance that the Kukah centre would keep working with various parties to keep the country and Kaduna State peaceful.
