On Thursday, August 1, Nigerians initiated protests to demand improved governance and an end to widespread problems such as food inflation, general inflation, and exorbitant costs of living.

According to SaharaReporters, the presence of Russian flags highlights the profound dissatisfaction with how the Nigerian government has managed the economic crisis, which intensified famine and adversity throughout Nigeria.

Protestors are expressing their mounting dissatisfaction and belief that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is not addressing their grievances, thus seeking the aid of Putin.

A significant number of individuals participated in the #EndBadGovernance protest when it resumed in Kano State.

The residents, voicing their exasperation, are calling for better governance and relief from economic stressors such as skyrocketing food prices and rampant inflation.
