The management of Kano Pillars Football Club has introduced Coach Paul Offor as the new Technical Adviser of the club under a one-year contract.
The chairman of the club, Umar Babangida, made the announcement during the unveiling ceremony in Kano on Friday, assuring Offor of a conducive working environment.
Babangida expressed confidence in Offor’s capabilities to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to him. He emphasized that the decision to appoint the tactician aligns with the team’s preparations for a successful campaign in the 2024/2025 season. Babangida urged the state’s residents and the club’s loyal supporters to remain patient and offer prayers for the club’s triumph.
He pledged that the club would strive for excellence in the upcoming season. In response, Offor expressed his gratitude for being chosen as the club’s technical adviser. He extended his appreciation to the club’s management for the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of football in the state.
The new technical adviser committed to exerting his utmost efforts to revamp the club and elevate the players’ performance. Offor, a former coach of Warri Wolves, Sporting Lagos, and Djeffa Benin Republic, appealed for backing and collaboration from Pillars’ fans.
Holding a UEFA C and CAF C license, the new Technical Adviser is currently pursuing his CAF B license. He is set to take over from Abdullahi Maikaba, who served the club for one season.
