A group of Concerned NNPP Stakeholders in the 19 Northern States have expressed their lack of confidence in Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State.
In a communique issued on Monday, the stakeholders, including the President of the group, Hon. Attahiru Musa, and Secretary, Hon. Simon Pam, stated their disappointment with the direction the NNPP is taking, particularly in Kano State.
They criticized the party’s leadership in the state, claiming that it is even worse than the government at the center and the previous administration.
The stakeholders highlighted that Governor Abba Yusuf was initially seen as a messiah who would bring about positive change, but the NNPP leadership has failed to deliver on its promises.

They expressed their frustration with the lack of good governance and quality leadership in Kano State, which was supposed to serve as a model for the Federal Government.
The stakeholders also mentioned the ongoing conflict between Governor Abba Yusuf and his predecessor, Umar Ganduje, who is currently the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
The state government has vowed to prosecute Ganduje for alleged financial misappropriation during his time as governor.
