The Kano Hisbah, headed by Sheikh Aminu Daurawa, has said that it will encourage the business endeavours of TikTokers and arrange weddings for them.
At a gathering that the Hisbah organised to give TikTokers advice on raising their moral standards, this idea was introduced.
On Monday, November 6, 2023, at 4 p.m., the Kano State Hisbah Command invited prominent tiktoker Murja Ibrahim Kunya, who is well-known for her provocative content that often ignites controversy in Kano state, to their headquarters for possible healing.

Deputy Commander-General of Hisbah Dr. Mujahid Aminuddeen invited everyone to attend, urging them to bring their business and educational credentials while disguising their faces to safeguard their identities.
This meeting is primarily intended to provide help to individuals who are interested in aid from Abba Kabir Yusuf, the state governor.
A large contingent of Tiktokers, many of whom had covered their faces with niqabs, joined the gathering decked out in traditional garb.
Speaking at the program’s unveiling, Commander-General of the Hisbah Board Sheikh Aminu Daurawa said, “Those of you who have fiancees or are interested in marriage we promise to organise a grand wedding and take responsibility for all the expenses.” “We are willing to give you all the necessary support to live a sustainable life.”
Along with giving advice on moral improvement, he also counselled the well-known TikTokers Murja Kunya and other attendees.
All TikTok users who require financial assistance, according to Sheikh Daurawa, should draught a business plan and submit it to the Hisbah board. If the board is pleased with the material submitted, the Kano government would grant financial support.
Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, the governor of Kano, has approved this programme, which aims to support moral development and help young people in the area.
The offer was well received by the TikTokers, who also had conversations with high-ranking Hisbah authorities.
The Hisbah gave N2,000 in travel ticket to TikTok users taking part in these talks as a sign of their dedication to the project.
This unexpected alliance between TikTokers and the Kano Hisbah is a novel and innovative step meant to uplift moral values in the local TikTok community and empower young people.
