According to Dantiye, the State Executive Council (SEC) gave its approval for the two interchange bridges’ construction during a recent meeting.
According to him, the initiatives were created to improve traffic flow, clear up traffic on the roads, encourage business and commercial activity, and promote the state’s overall economic growth.
The Commissioner announced that Messrs CGC Nigeria Limited had been given the contract for the projects, which would cost N15.97 billion and be funded in part by state and local government councils.
In order to increase the general wellbeing of the populace, he stated, “the state government assures the general public of timely execution of the two projects and initiation of more public oriented and developmental projects in both rural and urban areas.”
He recommended drivers using the impacted roads to take the alternate routes and accept whatever short-term difficulty the projects’ execution may have created.
