Governor Kabiru Abba Yusuf of Kano State has taken a notable step towards increasing financial transparency by ordering the swift closure of bank accounts belonging to all ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) operating within the state.
During a meeting at the Government House that was attended by different MDA heads and the Chairman of Kano State Internal Revenue Service, an order was announced.
