APC supporters in Kano announce they will not join the protest against Tinubu’s government. Discover the reasons behind their decision.

Numerous advocates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kano state have declared their refusal to partake in the upcoming nationwide demonstration concerning challenges starting from August 1st.

The followers of APC, led by Nasiru Bala Aminu (also known as Ja’oji), state that they have no rationale to demonstrate against the governance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

During his speech in Kano on Wednesday, Ja’oji recognized that it is democratic to express concerns about specific government policies. However, he condemned any attempts to incite a crisis under any guise as unacceptable behavior for rational citizens.

He stated, “For everyone present here today, specifically our women including mothers and sisters, we do not endorse any demonstration during this crucial phase of national progress and unity. In the absence of distinct organizers, it implies a concealed plan exists which we wholeheartedly oppose.”

Ja’oji revealed that he had met and conversed with several women’s groups regarding the upcoming protest, and they guaranteed him that they would not participate. Additionally, they promised to caution their offspring against taking part in it as well.

It is evident that their stance is unequivocal- they do not belong to it, refuse to endorse it and have even cautioned their kids against backing the same. Their unwavering desire for a peaceful Nigeria overrides all else.

He stated that our desire and concern lies in a tranquil and cohesive Nigeria. Nevertheless, certain African nations are experiencing unrest due to comparable protests being taken over by miscreants and disloyal individuals. Some of these African countries had previously encountered unfavorable consequences as a result of poorly motivated demonstrations.
