Kaduna police save three hostages and detain robbery suspect
According to the Kaduna State Police Command, three abducted victims have been freed from Kidandan village in the state’s Giwa Local Government Area.
The victims were saved on November 13 by Command personnel, according to ASP Mansur Hassan, the command’s spokesman, who talked with NAN on Wednesday in Kaduna.
He claimed that the accomplishment was made possible by increased patrols in the surrounding area, which drove the bandits to flee from their victims.

Hassan claimed that the victims were abducted by the bandits on October 3 while travelling along the Kaduna-Abuja Motorway to Kano. He also stated that the victims who were saved had subsequently been connected to their relatives.
“On Tuesday, at approximately 1800 hours, a group monitoring the area of concern noticed a man with a bloated face and severe agony.
“After being questioned, the man claimed that a passenger had stolen his motorbike and attacked him with a hammer,” the man stated.
According to the statement, the suspect was apprehended at the Bagadaza Dogarawa area of Sabo Garin Zaria LGA as a result of the agents’ prompt action.
He stated that the suspect was found in possession of a motorbike and a hammer by the police, and that the case was still being investigated.
Hassan asked for the people’s support while restating the command’s resolve to combat crimes and criminalities in the state.
