The curfew is in force right away, according to Samuel Aruwan, state commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs.
After the murders of two people, the Kaduna State Government enforced a 24-hour curfew on Sabon Garin Nassarawa towns in the state’s Chikun Local Government Area.
The curfew is in place right now, according to a brief statement from Samuel Aruwan, the state commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs.
Aruwan said that the choice was made in response to a breakdown in law and order that resulted in the deaths of two people in an incidence of urban gang warfare.
The commissioner said, “Security agencies have been asked to enforce the curfew in the area and restore order while an inquiry into the event has begun.”
