A weapons manufacturing facility has been discovered by Operation Safe Heaven (OPSH) personnel in Kafanchan, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The Nigerian Army stated that the operation followed the determination of the OPSH commander, Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, to deal forcefully with sponsors and perpetrators of crime in a statement issued on Friday via its verified X Twitter.

Several deadly weapons were found after the operation, which took place from Thursday night until Friday morning.

The statement claims that the finding came after a week-long intelligence operation that ended with Napoleon John, a wanted gunrunner, being apprehended.
