Treasure Ayuba, the final victim of the Bethel High School student abducted in Kaduna, has been freed.

On July 5, 121 pupils were kidnapped by gunmen who broke into the Damishi, Kaduna school.

Ayuba was the final victim to be set free, with others having already been freed.

Ayuba’s release was verified by the Nigeria Baptist Convention (NBC) on Thursday evening.

In a statement, NBC President Rev. Israel Akanji acknowledged his discharge.

He exclaimed, “Praise be to God! Praise be to God! Praise be to God! Today, November 2, 2023, Treasure Ayuba, the final boy remaining with the bandits who abducted 121 students from Bethel Baptist High School in Kaduna on July 5, 2021, has just returned home.

“Glory to our dependable God. I also want to thank you so much for all of your prayers and help.
