The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has denounced all forms of violence as well as the murder of unarmed civilians in Nigeria by armed bandits.
In a statement released on Tuesday, KACRAN, through its National President, Khalil Mohammed Bello, stated that the Association is working with the appropriate parties to find long-term solutions to the country’s security concerns.
Bello added in the statement: “The condemnation by KACRAN originates from the clear conviction that no cause justifies aggressive attacks, retaliation, or the senseless slaughter of fellow citizens.
According to the Association, “These inhumane acts are barbaric in nature and have no place in society, especially when the global community strives for peace, progress, and the welfare of its people.”
It questioned why people would act in such an unjustified, animalistic manner by ruthlessly attacking, ruining, and killing their fellow humans.
KACRAN urged armed robbers and other criminals to turn from their sins by forgoing attacks on innocent people in favour of taking revenge on volunteers or vigilantes.
These revenge attacks harm innocent villages, especially women, children, and the elderly, by inflicting injuries, property damage, and suffering. Such behaviour is inappropriate and unjustifiable, it said.
But it urged the relevant authorities to work with the Association on putting sensible measures for resolving disputes and bringing about peace into the world.
