Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf responded to the Supreme Court’s ruling on Friday upholding his election.

Yusuf took to his verified X handle to thank God for the latest ruling. Yusuf was present at the apex court in Abuja to witness the judgement that overturned the decisions of the Kano State governorship election tribunal and Appeal Court that had declared All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Yusuf Gawuna the winner of the Kano election.
“Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah. – AKY,” which translates to “I thank God, I thank God,” was what he said.
