JUST IN: Three Tragically Crushed by Falling Container in Oyo

A tragic accident in Oyo claims three lives as a container falls on a vehicle. Authorities investigate the cause of the incident.

A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday in the Takie area of Ogbomosho, Oyo State, when a truck carrying containers lost control and overturned onto a commercial tricycle. The incident took place around 9:30 a.m. at Takie Junction, resulting in the deaths of three individuals.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck lost control as it was navigating a curve, resulting in its container toppling onto a tricycle. The victims, which included two female passengers and the rider of the tricycle, became trapped beneath the fallen container.

Rescue officials later announced that all three victims had perished.

At the time of this report, efforts were underway to remove the container and clear the road to prevent additional accidents and improve traffic flow in the area.
