JUST IN: President Tinubu Arrives in Lagos for Christmas and New Year Holidays

President Bola Tinubu touches down in Lagos to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays, marking a festive homecoming for the Nigerian leader.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reached Lagos State to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays.

He arrived at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos exactly at 3:23 PM on Wednesday.

Before leaving Abuja, Tinubu submitted the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly, representing an important milestone in the country’s fiscal planning.

According to a statement from Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, the President was warmly welcomed at the airport by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and other members of the state cabinet.

The announcement stated, “President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays.”

Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, along with Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat and cabinet members, greeted the President at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport.

Prior to leaving for Lagos, President Tinubu presented the 2025 budget, amounting to N47.9 trillion, before a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja.
