After experiencing a total blackout for several days, power supply has been restored across various northern states in Nigeria, alleviating the ongoing energy crisis for residents.
Power has been restored to Plateau, Bauchi, Gombe, and Benue states under the Jos Electricity Distribution (JED) franchise following a lengthy outage.
The power restoration took place around 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday, sparking celebrations among residents of Jos, the capital of Plateau State, who expressed their joy at having electricity back.
