JUST IN: Police Prevent Youths from Breaking into Kano Store
The Kano State Police Command swiftly intervened by dispersing a group of youths who were attempting to break into Sadaraki Stores located on Zoo Road in the state capital.
Prior to police intervention, the suspects caused harm to the building’s windows but were subsequently prevented from further devastation.
Even though there was an incident, few people in Kano are following the hunger protest with many preferring to remain indoors.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf had cautioned about possible violence and hinted that certain individuals could possibly exploit the protest for malicious actions.

The governor delivered a message to business, traditional, and religious leaders at Government House in Kano.
He emphasized that protests are not productive and requested those who wish to protest exercise caution in their actions as they can be used by destructive influences.
The governor, Yusuf, stressed that credible intelligence has been obtained by the government regarding plans of inciting trouble by dissatisfied individuals.
He gave assurance that such actions will not be condoned and extended an invitation to authentic protesters for a positive discussion at Government House.
Furthermore, he emphasized the continual actions carried out by the state government to execute policies and initiatives intended for enhancing Kano’s populace welfare.
He underscored how crucial it is to uphold peace and stability within that locality.
