JUST IN: Gov. Adeleke Votes as Osun Defies FG, Holds LG Elections
Despite legal controversies and federal opposition, Osun State presses forward with its local government elections as Governor Ademola Adeleke casts his vote.
Despite recommendations from the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, and the Nigeria Police Force to suspend it, Osun State is proceeding with its local government election as planned.
Governor Ademola Adeleke voted at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning at Unit 9, Ward 2 in the Ede North Local Government Area (LGA).
