Binance Holdings Limited and its two top officials, Tigran Gambaryan and Nadeem Anjarwalla, are scheduled to be arraigned by the Federal Government on charges related to tax evasion.
The arraignment will take place before Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja. Tigran Gambaryan appeared in court on Thursday morning, while Nadeem Anjarwalla was reported to be on the run.
Despite the ongoing Easter vacation, Justice John Tsoho, the Chief Judge of the court, granted permission for Justice Nwite to handle the case due to its significance to the nation.
The defendants are accused of money laundering and operating specialized businesses in Nigeria without a license, facing a total of five charges.
