JUST IN: Ben Nwabueze, notable legal legend, has passed away

Prominent Nigerian constitutional lawyer and former secretary general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo International, Professor Ben Nwabueze (SAN), passed away.

This was made public by Atani Town Union President General Arinze NZELI, who said that the illustrious legal icon passed away on Sunday, 29 October, at 4 p.m. in his Lagos apartment.

Nzeli claims that the fabled legal hero had been ill for a while before to the terrible accident.

The former Ohaneze Ndigbo Secretary-General passed away on Sunday, according to a text message confirming the incident from Afam Ogene, a member of the Federal House of Representatives representing the Ogbaru federal constituency.

His age was ninety-two.

The birthplace of Ben Nwabueze is Atani, Anambra State. He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and was born in 1931.
