JUST IN: Bandits Murder RCCG Pastor’s Son, Kidnap Wife in Nasarawa

Armed bandits have killed the son of a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) pastor and abducted his wife in Nasarawa. Security forces are on high alert.
In the early hours of Monday, February 17, suspected bandits targeted the home of Pastor Austin Ifeji from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Gwagwalada, a Mararaba community near Abuja, Nigeria’s capital. Tragically, they killed his son and kidnapped his wife during the attack.
Reports indicate that heavily armed attackers invaded the residence, wounding Pastor Ifeji with machetes before he managed to escape. Unfortunately, his son was shot and later died at the hospital.
Residents revealed that the kidnappers have requested a ransom of N30 million for the pastor’s wife’s release.
“The boy is the sole son in his family, having four sisters. Unhappy with how they were treating his mother roughly, he confronted the kidnappers and was subsequently shot,” according to the source.
In the meantime, Rahman Nansel, the spokesperson for the Nasarawa police, stated that the command has not yet been informed about the situation.
