Jude Okoye reveals he took 40% of P-Square’s proceeds, with Peter and Paul each receiving 30%. Discover more about this earnings split.

Following fraud allegations by Peter against him and Paul, Jude Okoye – the longtime manager of P-Square group – has disclosed the sharing formula for their proceeds.

He clarified that the earnings of P-Square were divided among him, Peter, and Paul.

He stated that he received 40% while the other two members of the duo each received 30%.

During an Instagram live session on Saturday, Jude Okoye refuted Peter’s accusations that he misappropriated millions of dollars in P-Square royalties by slyly transferring the funds into his personal account.

He stated that he visited the EFCC office solely in Paul’s company, without his lawyer. He provided all of the required documents and an officer reviewed them before querying if Peter had signed. The individual wasn’t sure where to find it on their own so they gestured at Peter’s autograph. Additionally, CAC certificates demonstrating ownership for Square Records and Northside Entertainment were presented as evidence during this interaction with law enforcement officials from Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

“They said, ‘You’re bigger than P-Square.’ I was confused and asked them to explain. They replied that my entitlement is 40% while the duo’s shares are only 30% each. Trying not to boast, I suggested they take a look for themselves.”

According to him, he submitted a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to the anti-corruption agency as evidence that everyone had reached an agreement on how to share.

Jude recalled being asked some annoying questions by EFCC officers such as the source of funds for constructing his Ikoyi residence. He revealed that he had funded part of the project through proceeds from selling his US property and borrowing money from colleagues.

Jude disclosed that he has been separated from P-Square since 2016, which marks eight years for him. He also revealed that the conflict between the twin brothers initiated in 2013 and persisted until their official separation as a group three years later.

Jude reported a deterioration of the situation in 2021 when the brothers endeavored to reconcile, but ultimately failed due to lingering disagreements.

He further mentioned that various notable Nigerians had made efforts to mend the differences between P-Square previously, without success.

He stated that despite attempts from various individuals including Emeka Offor, the deceased Ifeanyi Uba, Dantata, Atiku, Peter Obi as well as governors and ministers along with their village king to reconcile Psquare; none have been successful.
