Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, the presidential candidates for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP), respectively, have been urged by the Coalition for Good Governance and Change Initiative (CGGCI) to back President Bola Tinubu’s on-going development plan.

The national coordinator of the group, Okpokwu Ogenyi, said both Atiku and Obi should accept the verdict of the tribunal while speaking to press on Wednesday in Abuja during a solidarity work in support of President Tinubu.

The mandate of the people, which was voluntarily handed to President Tinubu and was also upheld by the court, was celebrated, he claimed, by CGGCI as part of the solidarity walk.

The world’s endorsement of the Nigerian people’s decision to continue supporting Asiwaju, according to Ogenyi, is a strong indication.

He continued, when asked what advice he had for Atiku and Obi, “They are Nigerians. Nigerians, however, turned down their request to be elected as our leaders. They ought to follow the President and accept the court’s ruling.

The group also praised the judges on the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal for their fair decision.

We are Nigerians by Providence, said Ogenyi, and that is not a mistake. To deliver Nigerians from hardship, God Almighty sent President Asiwaju. Asiwaju has made a lot of promises, and he is delivering on them.

He started taking action within the first 100 days of taking office to mitigate the effects of the subsidy reduction carried out by the previous administration. Through the creation of new ministries and their effective assignment, he was able to diversify the Nigerian economy within his first 100 days in office.

“Asiwaju has made significant progress in just his first 100 days in office. Nigeria is now recognised by the entire world. He has been invited to speak by the United States of America during the current NUGA match in Portugal. Aside from that, he was the only African leader invited to the meeting.
