Published

Joe Igbokwe criticizes Seyi Tinubu, declaring him unqualified to govern Lagos, sparking debate over his leadership potential.

Joe Igbokwe, a leader within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed that Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, lacks the necessary qualifications to serve as governor of Lagos State.

This follows reports encouraging the president’s son to pursue a gubernatorial run in 2027.

In response to this development, Igbokwe expressed criticism in a Facebook post towards those supporting Seyi’s candidacy for Lagos governor.

The APC leader characterized the calls as a diversion and an effort to undermine Tinubu.

He also pointed out that governing a state like Lagos is not a task for the inexperienced.

Who are the unidentified individuals advocating for Seyi Tinubu as Lagos Governor? This serves as an unnecessary distraction.

He wrote, “Their goal is to undermine PBAT. We should let PBAT carry on with his demanding and engaging duties. Governing Lagos isn’t a task for the inexperienced.”
