According to a Police spokesman, “the suspects were apprehended for alleged robbery, kidnapping, murder, rape, vandalism, animal rustling, and fraud, among other things.”

He continued by saying that the suspects include 25 robbers, 12 kidnappers, 36 murderers, 25 rapists, 37 thieves, 15 vandals, 17 animal rustlers, and 5 fraudsters, while 126 other people were detained for allegedly being members of a gang of brigands.

One AK-47 rifle, one Beretta handgun, three locally produced pistols, 48 rounds of live ammo, 20 cars or motorcycles, and 64 rustled animals are among the weapons the police have found.

560 packets of Cannabis sativa and a handful of narcotics were among the additional goods found, according to the spokesman.

He said that the crime prevention measures used by the Command in its ongoing battle against all types of crime in the state during the time under review had paid off, and he urged citizens to go about their legitimate business without fear of molestation.
