In Jigawa State’s Malam-Madori local government, unidentified assailants shot and killed the wife of a police officer and killed his two sons.
Approximately twenty armed individuals, according to a local who spoke to the Daily Post, broke into homes on Wednesday at 2:00 am carrying lethal weapons and robbing occupants.
They broke into Faroq Abdullahi’s home and stole more than N1 million from him, according to the former chairman of Jigawa state’s consumer protection department.
They then moved to the residence of a police officer who works for the Zamfara police command and shot his family there.
Two of his sons perished there and then, and his wife was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries to her arm and chest.
The event was confirmed by the Jigawa state command’s police spokesperson, DSP. Lawan Shiisu Adam.
According to him, the Maman Biyu residence in the Abuja neighbourhood of the Malam-madori local government was the scene of an armed robbery, which the police were informed about.
He explained that the event occurred on Wednesday when the thugs broke into Maman Biyu’s home and killed two of her boys, Rochard Amos, 15, and Cyril Amos, also 15, as well as hurting the mother.
He claimed that after being transported to Hadejia General Hospital, the victim and corpses were declared dead by a doctor.
The search for the perpetrators is in high gear, according to a police spokesman.
