Ejikeme Mmesoma’s results from the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination will be withdrawn, according to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), which has accused her of manipulating her test results.

Moreover, Mmesoma will be prosecuted for allegedly misleading the public in order to illegally earn scholarships and other awards.

Remember that Innocent Chukwuma, Chairman of Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing Company, recently honored Mmesoma and gave her a scholarship worth N3 million since she allegedly got 362 in the 2023 UTME.

However, JAMB declared the candidate’s results to be false on Sunday in Abuja in a statement signed by its Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, claiming that the candidate’s original score of 249 was altered to a 362 score.

Benjamin claimed that some candidates for the 2023 UTME are disguising false scores in order to gain an unfair edge.

He also mentioned the Kaduna candidate named Atung Gerald who supposedly claimed to have received a score of 380 and cautioned the public against falling for the candidates’ shenanigans.

The issue arose when Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma was scheduled to receive an award from the Anambra State Government. One of the government’s top officials called JAMB to verify Mmesoma’s claim, however the Board later revealed that she had actually received a score of 249 rather than the 362 she had claimed.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) issued a statement that said: “The attention of the JAMB has been directed to many articles in both print and online media praising certain applicants for being high scorers in the 2023 UTME.

The Board is compelled to correct the record and declares categorically that many of the results that many of these candidates are displaying are fraudulent. Many of these candidates actually received far lower scores than they are claiming, and they manipulated their numbers using amusing software programs to fool the audience into believing they did well.

The example of Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, who claimed to have received a scholarship worth N3 million from Chief (Dr.) Innocent Chukwuma despite only receiving a 362 on the UTME in 2023, is the most pitiful of them all.

“She was even about to receive recognition from the Anambra State Government when one of its top officials called JAMB to verify her claim, only for the Board to find out that Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma had actually scored 249. She had claimed to have earned 362. She had fabricated her UTME results in order to mislead the public and gain scholarships and other awards through fraud.
