JAMB: She lied to me; Mmesoma’s father apologizes for the fabricated score

Romanus Ejikeme, the father of Mmesoma, the candidate accused of falsifying the JAMB results, has expressed regret to Nigerians and the board.

Mr. Ejikeme bemoaned the fact that his daughter had misled him and Nigerians on her JAMB results.

Ejikeme asserted to NTA that Mmesoma did not inform him of the truth promptly enough.

Ejikeme claims that when he learnt the reality, he blamed Mmesoma.

“My daughter didn’t open up to me at the right time, and when I realized her error, I blamed her,” he said.

“I warned her, Mmesoma, to be cautious; you understand that you are a celebrity and won’t harm your reputation.

But I’m still begging for forgiveness as a father from JAMB and Nigerians.

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, or UTME, results that were fake were displayed by Mmesoma.

She stated that she received the highest score possible, a 362.

However, JAMB disregarded the result, emphasizing that she received a 249.
