Alex Iwobi, a midfielder for Nigeria, is one of the candidates for Fulham’s Goal of the Month honour.
Iwobi received a nomination for his goal in the September 27 2-1 Carabao Cup victory over Norwich City for the Cottagers.
The 27-year-old scored his first goal for Marco Silva’s team.
Chibuzor Nwoko, a young person from Nigeria, is another candidate for the honour.
The goal Nwoko scored in Fulham’s U-18 team’s 3-1 victory over Chelsea made the shortlist.
The other nominees for the award include Ollie O’Neil, Lille Lambird, Tia Foreman, Callum Osmand, Madi Parsonson, Matt Dibley-Dias, and Callum McFarlane.
On the day of the transfer deadline, Iwobi switched from Everton to Fulham.
