Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has refuted the assertion that he doesn’t want to spend money on a political campaign (not donating “shishi”).
Obi claimed that if elected in the upcoming presidential election in 2023, he will be more devoted to using state funds for the benefit of the general population.
During an interactive session with stakeholders from the northeast on Monday in Abuja, Obi revealed this.
“People complain that we don’t provide them’shishi. It’s not accurate. However, I want to use your money to your advantage. I want to utilize it to offer your kids opportunities and education.
“I have no desire to take your money. I am not acting in that manner because it is improper. Instead, Obi responded, “I want to be a part of you and your kids.
The former governor of Anambra State said that he would not run for president from Abuja but that he was loyal to the Northeast.
“I’m going to represent the Northeast as your President. There is no way I won’t visit every single Nigerian state. I’ll be all over,” he assured her.
