Hazel Oyeze Onou, also known as Whitemoney, won the “Shine Ya Eye” competition on Big Brother Naija. He has stated that his wealth helped him succeed in the All Stars version of the reality programme rather than his admirers.

The singer claimed that because he knew he wouldn’t prevail, he wasn’t shocked when he was finally forced to leave.

He clarified that he paid his team money to vote for him prior to appearing on the show.

Whitemoney asserted in a recent interview with YouTuber Olufemi Daniel that he received about 2% of the votes cast by supporters.

The reality star insisted that money, not admirers, was what propelled him forward.
