The Israeli military maintains that the six-day cease-fire in Gaza will hold in view of the efforts of the mediators to carry out the hostage-releasing procedure.

After Hamas provided Israel with a list of women and children who were to be released on Thursday, the ceasefire was extended for an additional day.

Following their liberation from Gaza on Wednesday night, ten Israeli hostages—along with four Thai nationals—returned to Israeli land.

Israel had earlier announced that two Russian-Israeli women had returned to the country after being freed on Wednesday.

According to Israel’s prison administration, 30 more Palestinian inmates have been released.
Two boys, ages eight and fourteen, were shot and killed earlier today during an Israeli operation in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli military claims that while conducting an operation aimed at a refugee camp, it killed a top Islamic Jihad commander and detained 17 others. It has not commented on the two boys in particular.
