The Israeli army has issued a fresh evacuation order for residents in southern Beirut, citing security concerns amid escalating tensions in the region. The call is part of ongoing military operations affecting civilian areas.

On Saturday, the Israeli military urged residents to evacuate certain areas of southern Beirut, a warning that is typically followed by strikes on those parts of the Lebanese capital.

Military spokesman Avichay Adraee posted an urgent warning in Arabic on X to residents of the southern suburb, particularly those in the Haret Hreik neighborhood. He stated: “You are situated near facilities and interests associated with Hezbollah, which will soon be targets for operations by the IDF (Israeli military).”
