Supporters of Palestine demonstrated in the streets against the Wednesday hospital attack in Gaza.
Due to pro-Palestine demonstrations on Wednesday against the backdrop of the battle between Israel and Hamas, the Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry withdrew the staff of its embassies in Rabat and Cairo.
Following the bombing of Al-Ahli Hospital in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of at least 471 people and the injuries of 314, protests were organised in front of Israeli missions in the capitals of Egypt and Morocco as well as other Israeli embassies in other cities across the world.
Following the incident, protests in favour of Palestine were also held in Tunisia, Libya, Lebanon, Germany, Iraq, Turkey, Jordan, Iran, Syria, Kuwait, and other nations. As a response, Israeli authorities have tightened security in diplomatic posts around the world.

Thousands of protesters demonstrated in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, against Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip. They said that Israel shot rockets at the hospital in Gaza, leading to the deaths of several hundred Palestinians, according to AFP.
On October 17, the attack also sparked widespread protests in Misrata and all other significant Libyan cities. Local protesters charged Arab leaders with doing nothing to help the Palestinians.
Participants in the rally demanded the expulsion of ambassadors from Western nations that are accused to be supporting Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. The protesters requested that oil and gas from Libya not be sent to Europe through the Greenstream pipeline.
The hospital was struck by a missile fired by a Palestinian militant organisation that deviated from its intended route, according to the Israeli army and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
