Several students have lost their lives as suspected Boko Haram insurgents launched an attack on Faudiya School in Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe State. This has been a tragic incident that leaves everyone deeply saddened.
The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), a Shiite group, is affiliated with the school.
According to reports, the attackers entered Geidam LGA’s Hausari neighborhood at 3:44 a.m. on Friday and focused on the school while its students were asleep.
The students were forcibly taken from their sleep and executed by the attackers, as reported by eyewitnesses.

According to an informant, the assailants infiltrated Faudiya School in Geidam, reputedly a Shiite establishment, and conducted the assault while its pupils were slumbering.
Residents are expressing shock over the brutal attack, as it has sparked fear and concern in the town.
According to a local vigilante group member, three students were killed and one was injured while trying to flee during the attack. The wounded student is currently receiving medical attention in a hospital.
The attack was confirmed by DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, the Public Relations Officer of Yobe State Police Command. However, no additional information was given.
After gathering further details, Captain Shehu Muhammad, the Assistant Director of Public Relations for Operation Lafiya Dole Sector 2 in Damaturu assured that he would provide additional information.
