The military has received praise from the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) for discovering a gun manufacturing facility in Kaduna State.

The MURIC Executive Director, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, stated this in a statement on Monday in Abuja.

Akintola characterised the military action as a huge eye-opener and a major breakthrough in the efforts of the Kaduna State Government and security agencies to identify individuals responsible for the violence in the state.

“On Friday, September 22, a gun-making plant was found in Kafanchan, Jemaah Local Government Area, Kaduna State. Soldiers from Operation Safe Haven discovered a variety of firearms, including rifles, shotguns, AK-47 rifles, sub-machine guns, pistols, and ammo.

“Police and army uniforms were also discovered. Napoleon John and Monday Dunia were two of those who were detained.

The Nigerian Army deserves praise for this discovery. It represents a big step forward and an eye-opening revelation in the efforts of security agencies to identify people responsible for the carnage in Kaduna State.

“This finding is just another indisputable demonstration of the superior calibre of Nigerian military. Our warriors are professional and valiant. We are pleased with them. No army in the world can outperform them if they had the right tools, incentives, and benefits,” he claimed.
