IPOB warns Igbo politicians to stop using Nnamdi Kanu’s detention for selfish political gain, urging respect for the situation.

IPOB cautioned Igbo politicians on Monday not to exploit the arrest of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu for personal political advantage.

Most of the South-East politicians claiming to be working towards Kanu’s release are only using empty words, according to Emma Powerful, IPOB spokesperson.

Powerful states that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), along with their noble family and leader Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu, are cautioning certain Igbo politicians and leaders against exploiting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s name for personal political gain.

Mazi Nnamdi KANU, the leader of IPOB, is not being held in DSS solitary confinement due to Nigerian politics but rather for advocating for Biafran independence and promoting the restoration of a sovereign state.

IPOB praises Ndigbo for abstaining from the #EndBadGovernance demonstration in Nigeria. Despite being extensively marginalized and excluded politically and economically, we have developed remarkable survival adaptability over many years of mistreatment in Nigeria.

Had the Ndigbo community participated in the protest, it would have resulted in an influx of federal troops aimed at devastating Igbo territory and taking numerous innocent lives. IPOB prioritizes our people’s welfare and security while simultaneously devising strategies for Biafra’s emancipation.

Our recommendation is for Ndigbo to abandon the notion of certain individuals exploiting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s name to further their own political agenda.

Many online discussions concerning visiting him in custody and campaigning for his release are merely political clichés.

Many of them are not associated with IPOB until Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released from unlawful detention at the DSS headquarters in Abuja.

Anyone who exploits Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s suffering to further their own political agenda must cease this behavior. Otherwise, IPOB will publicly expose and obstruct your political motives in the South-East region.
