According to the Kaduna State Police Command, their agents have apprehended a suspect in international auto theft and found an anti-tracker jammer within the state.
This was verified by the command’s spokesperson, ASP Mansir Hassan, in a statement released in Kaduna on Friday.
“On May 27, at approximately 1830 hours, our operatives received a tip-off from a good Samaritan,” Hassan stated.
“A person stated that they were asked to help retrieve a Lexus LX470 Jeep from a repair shop.”
He claims that as soon as he got the car, he knew it was stolen and called the police.

Hassan continued, saying that the suspect, Mubarak Kabiru of Kano, was apprehended by the police after they activated surveillance along Alkali Road in Kaduna.
“An anti-tracking jammer was recovered during a search of his room at the Ishacool Hotel in Kabala Doki, Kaduna,” he continued.
